INNOVATIVE ADVANCES IN 3D PRINTING AT SAINT-GOBAIN WEBER

The Bridge has reported on some progress in 3D concrete printing through a partnership between Saint-Gobain Weber and the Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands. This is a very significant development of Saint-gobain Weber.

In the Netherlands, Saint-Gobain Weber has been working with the Technical University of Eindhoven, which specializes in engineering science and technology. They have developed a new mortar for 3D printing that produces less waste.

A series of layers is used to create complex shapes for a huge variety of applications. It was presented at the Global Manufacturing and Industrialization Summit in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) last March.
